Discussion:
Think it's true guys/gals? Ally Hannigan treated Amber Benson like crap

I've seen different postings over the years, at DataLounge and other
gossip sites which usually turn out right. What do you think, I heard
that Ally in real-life either hates you or loves you, she dislike SMG
and poured water over ehr once for no reason. And she made cruel jokes
at the expense of Amber benson (whom I adore, I love ehr and the
character of Tara) becuase Amber was getting popular on the set whereas
before Ally had been queen bee. Also, Amber was friends with SMG.

One fact I do know, in an ironic twist Amber is dating Adam Bush
)ex-Warren), whose BtVS character Warren killed her.

I had a nice conversation with Amber's mom online at essenceofamber.com
and she more or less alluded that Joss Whedon NEVER asked Amber to
return to the show as Tara towards the end of season 7 (not talking
about "Conversations w/ Dead People" folks) as Joss claims at a fan
convention---something like Buffy got a wish and wished Tara back into
Amber's life.

As much as I love Ally's acting, I think she probably could be a real
you know what. Maybe I am wrong, but Amber Benson seems a lot sweeter,
and the actress who played Kennedy did say about Ally, "(sic) I've
never met anyone so unlike the character they play." Hmmm..what do u
think. I'm not saying these are facts, but if keep on eharing a story
so much, you begin to wonder.

THe unlike the character they play comment could just be based off of
the fact that Willow is kind of repressed while AH is known to be
fairly wild. As for Amber Benson not being invited back, I wouldnt be
surprised if it's true. The wish brining her back is to happy ending
for Joss. But at the same time him never considering her as the First
would be surprising.

I figured he underestimated how pissed people would be at the end of
season 6 and was trying to appease some fans.

Sorry. I spent most of my time in English class reading my Lit book
and ignoring the grammar. The only two/to/too rule I can ever remember
is too was used for also.

As those are three different words, I fail to see where the confusion
arises.

He said he knows they are supposed to be 3 different words, but
he forgets which word is which, except that too is a synonym for also.

I think you have over-interpreted what he says - he does *not* say that he
knows they are three different words.

What? You've never heard of difficulty with homonyms? And would I
have listed them as I did if they weren't different words?

Well, that's what I thought.

John is right, you didn't explicitly say it. But you did list
them separately, so...

That rather implies that you think there are four or more words - you would
do better to concentrate on homophones, which would appear to be your
trouble here.

I have n't heard anything about Hannigan and the "she either likes you or
hates you thing." but being unlike Willow means she's very much not an
introvert. In fact, I believe she was dating the drummer from Marilyn
Manson's group (or some group. Let's just say it's wasn't somebody you'd
expect Willow to associate with).

Iyari has also said this:

DOLLY: You spent the most time onscreen with "Willow", Alyson Hannigan.
How did you two get along? Was it awkward?

IYARI: Not at all. Aly was very sweet and professional. We were both
there to do our job and that we did.

I have no idea if that is trough, or taken out of context. (The water-
pooring could have been a joke in sunny California, etc).

But we all know Joss plays fevorites, so I wouldn't be surprised if that
had caused rivalry among the cast.
Because in the bearly years they all seemed to get along great and they
allways told how much they liked (working with) each other.
But like all workplaces, if the boss sets the wrong example, it ruins the
mood.
